In principle, all components made from AlMg 1 (EQ) aluminium in our portfolio can be anodised to achieve colour-accurate and uniform results. During the anodising process, the sheet metal component is handled with the utmost care to preserve the integrity of the workpiece and ensure a high-quality end product.
Within our capacity range, we can process sheets with a maximum width of 1,500 mm and a length of up to 7,000 mm. These capacities ensure that we can offer high-quality anodising even for larger components. Other dimensions can also be processed on request.
Through an electrochemical process known as anodising, we convert the surface of aluminium into a hard and scratch-resistant layer of aluminium oxide. This process not only improves wear resistance but also increases the material’s corrosion resistance.
In addition to standard anodising, we also offer the option of colour anodising for sheet metal. By adding dyes during the anodising process, we can achieve a wide range of colours, giving your products a distinctive and attractive appearance.
Every anodised component undergoes rigorous quality control at SCHÄFER Perforated Metal to ensure it meets our high standards. We guarantee consistently high quality and durability of the anodised surface.
Use our specially developed perforated sheet configurator to select the material and specify the hole pattern, hole diameter and hole spacing.
